Hello! My name is Meghan and I am a Registered Psychologist. Born and raised in Calgary, I have always had an appreciation for physical activity, sports, and the outdoors. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria, and Master’s degree in Sport Psychology from the University of Alberta before going on to complete a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary. I previously worked as a mental performance consultant, offering education and mental skills development sessions within youth and elite sport systems. Through my work I have found that sport and performance skills are useful in many different domains to improve performance and quality of life.
It is inevitable that life gets complicated, uncomfortable, or heavy at times and this is where counselling may be helpful. Counselling can be useful for many reasons, including personal reflection, skill development, growth, and healing. I take a client centred approach, meaning that your counselling goals are also my goals, and I will collaborate with you to make sure you are getting what you need out of our work together to see the desired outcomes in your performance, relationships, and life.
